Safety & Security

The children’s ministry has the following security measure in place which is designed to add safety for your children. Upon dropping off your child you will be asked to follow a couple of steps.

1.       Upon dropping off your child you will be handed be handed a number on a rubber scrunchy. This number will be written down next to your child’s name. When picking up your child, the person picking up your child MUST have the correct numbered scrunchy to have the child.

2.       You will initially be asked to fill out a form which will list the approved people who can pick up your child. This way if you lose the scrunchy, the person on the approved list can have your child as long as that person has valid ID.

3.       If a person wants to retrieve a child, does not have the scrunchy, and is not on the approved retriever list... that person will NOT be allowed to retrieve the child for ANY reason. Children’s ministry volunteer leaders have been instructed to be VERY stringent on these rules. We're sorry but there will be NO exceptions.  Unfortunately, operating on familiarity and facial recognition in our culture is no longer an acceptable system.  Thanks for understanding.
